BECKLEY - The Raleigh County Board of
Education will conduct mandatory public hearings to give parents, school
district employees and the community the opportunity to provide input on the
2014 to 2015 school calendar.
Two hearings will be held at the
board's office in Munson Hall at 105 Adair Street in Beckley, according to
Public Relations Specialist Dave Traube with the Raleigh County Board of
Education. The first meeting is Tuesday, February 25 at 5 p.m. The second
meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 11 at 4:30 p.m.
In the interest of time and efficiency,
oral statements will be limited to five minutes and these statements may be
supplemented with written comments, according to Traube.
