BLUEFIELD - Organizers of a third annual event in downtown Bluefield said they pre-sold as many as 500 tickets for a festival that benefits community improvement

Hundreds of people turned out for Winter Warmer in Bluefield, which is held to raise money for the the city's beautification commission. The festival included funky tunes from The Carpenter Ants, nippy drinks and crafty foods.
"We bring our community together, and we take the money from this, and we do projects all over our community from different parts of our town," Rob Linkous told WOAY. "Downtown, playgrounds. Everywhere is covered."

Organizers hope to expand next year's fourth annual event to draw guests from other communities.
