UPDATE: Explosion reported in Raleigh Co.

NAOMA - A reported explosion turned structure fire is under investigation in Raleigh County. 

911 Dispatchers said it happened just after 9pm Wednesday at a house near the 100-block of Drews Creek Road in Naoma. They said a neighbor called them upon hearing an explosion and then seeing the house on fire. Whitesville, Trap Hill, Coal River and Clear Creek Fire Departments responded to the scene, along with Whitesville Ambulance Service. 

The residents were not home during the fire and no one was hurt, according to dispatchers. The State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating this incident.

NAOMA - A reported explosion is under investigation in Raleigh County.

911 Dispatchers say a call came in just after 9pm Wednesday of an explosion in Naoma on Drews Creek Rd.

Not many details are available at this time but the Whitesville Fire and Ambulance Service were both called to the  scene, along with Trap Hill and Coal River Fire Departments.

The Raleigh County Sheriff's Dept is investigating. No word if anyone was hurt. Stick with us as more information becomes available.
