TWV Act II writing a new script

Theatre West Virginia Act II draws its curtains to some new ideas from the public.

The Second "Community Meeting" on the steps of Theatre West Virginia Act II was held Wednesday night at the Raleigh County Library Lower Level. Advisory board members hashed out some fresh ideas with the public on ways to move forward. They discussed ways to broaden their interaction through various social media sites.

The group also decided to move forward with video auditions in order to get the best talent despite long distance.

TWV Advisory Board Member Kathy Hill is optimistic for what's to come.

"We're trying to bring some fresh ideas and try to look at creative ways to bring in some support, and to get people to visit Theatre West Virginia and let people know we're not gone. We're coming back and we're going to come back stronger, eventually," Kathy Hill - TWV.

Upcoming auditions will be in Beckley as well one in Charleston is already set for March 3rd at the Cultural Center.
