CHARLESTON - The University of Charleston will offer a new bachelor's degree in health promotion.
Students could use the degree to educate others on healthy lifestyles and disease prevention. The university said students could graduate with the degree in three and a half years. That included a 12 credit internship during the final semester.
UC also said that federal labor statistics showed jobs for health educators and workers were expected to grow by 21% through the year 2022.
