Officials seek nominations for 2014 Governor's Arts Awards

CHARLESTON - Officials are seeking nominations for the 2014 Governor's Arts Awards.

The Division of Culture and History and the West Virginia Commission on the Arts are accepting nominations in five categories that include: education, distinguished service, leadership in the arts, artist of the year, and lifetime achievement.  Residents can nominate individual artists, organizations, and communities.  The deadline is February 21 and the awards are presented in the spring during a ceremony at the Culture Center in Charleston.
