OAK HILL – All hands are on deck for a local pizza chain as they continue to fill orders on one of the busiest days of the year.
Domino’s Pizza says Super Bowl Sunday can flood the store up to 3.5-times a normal Sunday.
Manager John Horn says that more than 20 employees will start the evening in the kitchen, manning their stations including taking orders, tossing dough, adding toppings and watching the oven.
He says his team is organized and prepared to take on the night.
“Super Bowl and New Year’s Eve are the two biggest days of the year,” says Horn, “And so we gear up for it. When the employees are hired they're informed there's two days that you have to work.”
Horn says the rush is well underway, and they'll continue to receive calls up until halftime.
