REGION FROM THE NORTHWEST TUESDAY FOLLOWED BY A RAPIDLY DEEPENING
LOW PRESSURE AREA OFF THE MID-ATLANTIC AND NORTHEAST U.S. COAST
TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY WILL BRING A PERIOD OF SNOW TO THE
REGION TUESDAY...FOLLOWED BY UPSLOPE SNOW SHOWERS TUESDAY NIGHT
AND EARLY WEDNESDAY. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 4 INCHES ARE
EXPECTED AT HIGHER ELEVATIONS ALONG WEST FACING SLOPES...WITH 1 TO

WEATHER ADVISORY ABOVE 2500 FEET FOR SNOW WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM
4 AM TUESDAY TO 8 AM EDT WEDNESDAY.

* LOCATIONS...PRIMARILY WESTERN AND NORTHERN GREENBRIER ALONG WITH
  NORTHWESTERN SUMMERS COUNTIES.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...3 TO 4 INCHES ALONG HIGHER WEST FACING
  SLOPES...LOCALLY 5 INCHES. OTHERWISE...1 TO 3 INCHES AT LOWER
  ELEVATIONS.

* TIMING...4 AM TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH 8 AM WEDNESDAY...WITH THE
  MAJORITY OF THE SNOW OCCURRING IN TWO BURSTS...4 AM TUESDAY TO
  NOON TUESDAY...AND THEN AGAIN 4 PM TUESDAY TO 4 AM WEDNESDAY.

* IMPACTS...UNTREATED ROADS AND SURFACES WILL BECOME SNOW
  COVERED...SLICK...AND HAZARDOUS.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST 5 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30
  MPH...INCREASING TO 15 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 40 MPH TUESDAY
